I have been hearing about a masterplan to make warangal the second large and best city in telangana.(the first is hyderabad ofcourse!_why you forgot it is in telangana?)
when I look at the satellite picture it becomes very obvious and clear to me the the urban groth in the triplet cities metroplex of WGL/HNK/KZPis very haphazard and going in a chevron like fashion
there is a large gap at the base of this triangle where the baseline is formed by the railway track between KZP and WGL.
if the municpal corp were to lay a road parallel to the railway track
this large are will get opened up and the house site shortage and the distances to many places in this metroplex will also become shortened .
soon I will be uploading a satellite picture with sketches to show pictorially what I propose .
this is a satellite picture of warangal.the kidney shaped lake in the center is the badrakaaLi ceruvu
at 5 oclock position one can see the 2 circular the outer mudwall and the inner stone wall of the famous warangal fort .

at about 11 clock position is the new stadium built on the hanmkonda Multipurpose highschool play ground where I learnt to playt a little cricket.
to the south of this ground long time ago there used to be a lake called balasamudram but its bund was cut a verylong time ago and the water drained and the whole area is filled with residences .
may be one of the many short sited things done by people .
it might have added to the reduced ground water and water problem
